Weekend Wrap-Up

I haven’t much interesting to talk about. It seems like I spent the weekend doing very little constructive. I just can’t seem to shake the effects of my antibiotics.

I did manage to make it to the knitters’ breakfast on Saturday morning and I spent a  whole hour at the library by myself.  That was terribly exciting as I am usually “hushing” little ones whenever I venture to the adult floor.

I suppose it was fortunate because the boys came down with a cold and I spent most of my weekend reading while cuddling feverish little ones.   My little one was running a high enough fever that I pulled out the essential oils and shut he and myself up in our room with a vaporizer.  They haven’t been sick too often this winter so I should consider myself lucky.
Today, I managed to get my youngest son’s haircut but I seemed to have run through  my quota of patience so the older son will have to wait for tomorrow. I posted some pictures of projects I have completed lately on Ravelry.  I sometimes feel foolish for doing this because my projects are not nearly so impressive as most posted there but I have a good friend who urges me along.  It does provide a bit of incentive to finish my projects once I start them which is an issue for me at times.  Too bad sewing projects can’t be posted there as well…

I looked at the Ravelry site, there is some beautiful stuff out there! I think I have been inspired to learn a new skill while I wait for spring. I can see how it could become a serious obsession with all the beautiful colors and textures. I am also home with sick children-our entire family is confined to home until my daughters test for whooping cough is in–love the public school system :0 Kris
