Create Your Own Travel Book

1.I start with a hard three-ring presentation binder. You can print off a cover page for the front and a map of the United States for the back.
2.Then buy one of those pencil bags designed to fit in a three ring binder. Fill with crayons or colored pencils, a dry erase marker, pencils, a glue stick, scissors and a cheap pencil sharpener.
3.Buy a cheap Sketch Pad and slip in the back pocket.
4.Print some travel games and slip them in page protectors. This way you can use a dry erase marker to play and they are erasable.
5.Include a word search book or crossword book, if the child is old enough. Search the Internet for Paper crafts that would interest your child or fit with the theme of the vacation. We included a “BEACH” bingo game when we went to the Ocean.
6.Clip a map light to the book and you are set.

Children love to dress up, however dress up clothes that you buy at the store are often poor quality. I have also found that dress-up clothes that could be used by girls and boys are hard to come by especially those of a more fanciful nature.
